Our store, which opened in late 2013, has always had the mission to provide a fun and open environment for kids in our historic downtown Culpeper, VA. We are a family owned business, operated by a husband and wife team - Whitney and Bill Edwards. We have four young children who are the daily inspiration and reminder of what it means to "play like a kid again" and we never lose sight of the example hard work can provide them. 

Starting in the summer of 2019, we took an opportunity to take our small "main street" feel to the internet and share our love of toys and family with everyone who wants to be a part of our journey. We take a personal approach to every customer that walks through our door or buys online. We want to offer an experience unlike those of "big block" stores and make you our customer and our friend for life. Every purchase you make through our store supports local families, small businesses and keeps main street alive.

Whitney Edwards
Co-Owner/CEO

Whitney is the life-blood of our store. With over 15 years of early childhood education experience and leadership directing government-supported child care programs in our local area, she is the chief curator of the products we sell and the activities we hold in-store regularly. Whitney oversees all aspects of the operation of our storefront in downtown Culpeper, VA from staff, products, inventory, management and administration. While not at the store, she still finds time to assist in a local preschool program for Epiphany Catholic School, volunteer work, reading COUNTLESS novels, crafting with her four beautiful children and enjoying a glass of wine with her husband.
Bill Edwards
Co-Owner/CIO & Executive Goofball

Bill is our Lollipop Station in-house goofball. Commonly referred to as the jack of all trades, Bill brings over 20 years of professional IT experience to our small business. With the last decade focused on leadership, strategy and development in local government technology he knows how to make technology improve customer's experiences. Bill is responsible for our technology strategy both in-store and online. He leads the marketing and business relationship efforts, assists Whitney in the strategic vision for the store and handles additional operational tasks as needed. While he is not at the store most days, you can find his personality in every social media post and marketing ad we put out. Bill believes in living a full, purposeful life, centered on being a servant-leader in public service and small business. He sits on two local boards of directors focused on improving our small town and charitable activities. After all that, he can be found turning wrenches and corners at many local racetracks with friends and family.
